Earthquakes

It is very rare for Sweden to have an earthquake. "The country sees around three earthquakes measuring around 3.0 in magnitude scale every year and most of them go unnoticed." (www.thelocal.se) Even though it is very rare, Sweden is sometimes hit with an earthquake.

Sweden earthquake – Country rocked by 4.1 magnitude tremors in one of its strongest ever quakes

Comments

  1. In a way it is good that Sweden does not get a lot of action in earthquakes because it can be very dangerous.

  2. Do they have any mitigation measures/plans for this hazard?

  3. FYI. I found they use a local seismic net to monitor those quakes! (which is good)
